For the first time yesterday I read the McCrone Report (I know, I should have read it sooner). As I read it, I could feel myself becoming pretty angry at it.
So that’s it folks, its official, the Scotland Office is no more. The Scotland Office is now the UK Government in Scotland.
I’m sure many of you are aware that the very fabric of the United Kingdom is intertwined in the Act(s) of Union (1707 and 1800).
Next week, Theresa Mays Government, including the Secretary of State for Scotland in the Union, David Mundell will be challenging the Scottish Governments Continuity Bill at the UK Supreme Court. David Mundell, not too long ago distinctly told Scotland that he would fight Scotland’s corner. Seems like he was telling a little porkie pie!
